This was a squirrel treatment that turned in to a bee treatment. The homeowner has had squirrels in his roof space over the Winter. I was treating for them and noticed a few bees flying into one of the holes the squirrels had made. On the return visit just 2 weeks later the few bees had turned in to lots of bees!

Some more bumblebees from today. An easy treatment from the ladders. The bees are getting more frisky with these warm days. This nest had a good 30 bees flying around outside it. Another one just down the road in Woolton was exactly the same.

Rats have been making there way in to a house by climbing up a garden wall and walking along the eaves and under roof tiles. They have happily set up home in the roof space and go out to feed on food left out for chickens by a neighbour.

More honey bee’s! These little bees are so interesting to watch. They constantly fight and interact with each other. They really are a pain in the bum for me though. Honey bee’s are protected and a license is required to have them removed. If you have honey bee’s a beekeeper should try to remove them before anything else is done. They are possibly the most beneficial insect there is. A single nest can have 60000 individuals who pollinate the flowers and plants. They can only be treated by pest controllers if they become a hazard for the homeowners. In this case they are above the front door. Hopefully a beekeeper can remove them!

These little bumblebees have built a nest in the gap between 2 paving slabs. They were better protected before as a shed covered the slabs. In one of the photos you can see one of the bee’s fanning the entrance hole trying to dry it out after the home owner soaked it with water for 10 minutes.

A honey bee swarm that had made home in a pub up near Wrexham. The bees were coming out in the 3 top bedrooms and office area. We went through all the processes of removing using beekeepers etc and eventually had to obtain a license from DEFRA for destruction of the bees. The treatment was carried out this morning. The builder was due this afternoon to block the holes so other bees don’t steal the honey.

Bedbugs Liverpool
A customer who has got the misfortune to have bedbugs. Shes has done exactly the right thing to keep them for the inspection so we know exactly what we’re dealing with. Shes even trapped them in tape which is absolutely text book.

This small gap where pointing has fallen out is now the home to a bumblebee nest. The bees are in the cavity just above the door. The owner wants it removing for fear of his kids and dogs getting stung. These small gaps in walls provide home to many different types of flying insect and should be blocked to prevent the insect rather than having to destroy them.
