Bee’s are a pollinating insect that are common across Liverpool. They however can become a pest if they make a home in our houses.
Tree bees are a very common type of bumblebee that is often mistaken for wasps. They look small and black from a distance but on a closer look are actually orange and black. They often nest in bird boxes but are more of a concern when they nest in roof spaces.
Treatment for them is similar to wasps. From the outside they can be treated using a lance with insecticidal dust blown in. From the inside they can be treated with an aerosol insecticide.
Honey bee’s live in large colonies of many thousands of insects. They should be protected if possible as they are a beneficial insect that is a major pollinator of plants and crops. In some cases however they can’t be removed from properties and treatments can be carried out.
Bees should be protected if possible as they are a beneficial insect but we do provide treatments for them if the nests are in problematic areas.
Prices start at £50 for bee treatments.
