Using the camera to find mouse activity under floorboards is a great help but what helps more is using the dog to find areas of high mouse activity and then using the camera once a smaller area has been located.
The dog has a heightened sense of smell and being a terrier has many generations of vermin hunting in his history to focus his talents.
The dog will search the floor and indicate where the high activity areas are. It’s then that a floorboard can be lifted or in some cases drilled to get the camera in.
Bait can be left under the floor exactly where the mice are moving often resulting in a quicker treatment time.
