A customer has been hearing noises in the roof space. There could be a few animals causing the noises. The most common are mice, rats, birds and squirrels.
An inspection of the roof space shows very obvious footprints in the dust. The size and shape show clearly it’s squirrels. To remove squirrels from roof spaces we use both traps and poisons.
They are placed and left for 2 weeks. The return visit will show the results. Squirrels can be tricky animals to control. Sometimes they will be killed by the traps, lured in by the peanut butter. Other times they won’t go near the traps but will take the poison. They are clever animals with distinct ‘personalities’ but control is still normally reached within 2 weeks.
